- 5th September 2010: Honingham |
|
Starting from Ye Olde Buck Inn at Honingham, the walk followed paths through thick forests and along streams. David and Amy passed us twice going in the other direction as they now live just off the route. A great lunchstop was had in The Swan pub garden in Mattishall, and near the end of walk was a conservation area with horses which escorted us to the end of the field. We had to climb over a gate and Suzy provided an entertaining somersault off the gate - unfortunately she ended up on the wrong side of it, but luckily unhurt and laughing. View Photographs |

A very pleasant early autumn walk from Poringland, along lanes and footpaths to Shotesham and back. All the sights, sounds and smells of the Norfolk countryside at this time of year. View Photographs |
