Posted - 20/03/2009 : 00:02:57 Newmarket Nights offer an irresistible cocktail of adrenaline-filled racing action, a flutter on the horses, a glass of iced cold beer, Champagne or Pimms and an open air concert by a well known band or artiste.....Scouting For Girls has been a popular band over the last year or so, with hits in the charts: Elvis Aint Dead, Shes So Lovely, Its Not About You and others.
Taking place at Newmarket's picturesque July Course with its rustic charm, romantic surrounding and English Garden party atmosphere, Newmarket Nights are a summer event not to be missed and must for a great night out with friends.
The racing gets underway early evening and concludes as nights falls, immediately followed by the post racing, open air concert. The bars remain open until the conclusion of the concert.
If anyone is interested in this please post below,or call me on my mobile 07862702050. Although the date is some way off, tickets for this gig event are on sale now and will sell out quickly, so i will be looking to reserve some tickets ASAP.
Depending on numbers we could arrange own transport or the hire of mini bus for those that want to drink???...will need to discuss this!
Tickets Cost £18.00 + £2.50 booking fee....Travel will be an additional cost TBC
Im anticipating leaving Norwich at about 2PM on the day to arrive in Newmarket for 3PM, Have some time to have a good picnic and some wine before hitting the horses!!!...first race starts at 6PM, the band starts about 9.30.
