Hi guys,

Thanks for your kind words. The numbers made it a great success. A shame about tom x 2.

Julian, no offence caused to me. Apologies if I caused anyone offence. You were very entertaining, so couldn't have talked too much.

Julian, look forward to the book!

Great evening! perfect weather, excellent meal and good company. (P.S. Nicola, if you're reading this, I tweaked the recipe as you suggested and the muffins were a success!)

Yep thanks Andrew for a nice evening, you are very good at organising these walks/meals.

Cheers

Hi Andrew, I'm a definite for walk/meal later on today, thanks.
Uncle_Albert Posted - 03/07/2009 : 19:51:59
Hi Suzanna, I'll add you to the list, it will be good to meet you.

Liz, if you can let me know by midday that will be fine.

Emma, my P.A. Liam is correct with his information. The table is booked for 8 o'clock but we should return to the pub from the walk by then.

Coryn, sorry to hear you can't make it. Thanks for letting me know.

Liam, thanks

Sorry Andrew. I've just got back from leading a 3 day residential visit for 7 and 8 year olds. I'm pretty exhausted so unfortunately won't be coming tomorrow.

Count me in! This will be my second walk with the group and I look forward to meeting some more new faces. Looking forward to it! See you there!

Suzanna.

Good point. Table to Bar and back to Table surely constatutes as walking
julian.white Posted - 03/07/2009 : 14:16:59
There's walking? What about meeting at the pub, staying at the pub, eating at the pub?
liam_dsouza Posted - 03/07/2009 : 14:05:16
Hi Emma- yes we are meeting at the pub, walking, and then the meal :)
Emmab Posted - 03/07/2009 : 13:28:26
Hi Andrew

As per texts, will let you know. :)

Are we meeting at the pub to start the walk and eat afterwards? I hope to get back from Manchester in time

Thanks

Hi Andrew
I should still be able to make this.

Hi Andrew

I think I'd better pull out of this event as I remember I'm involved with a festival in west Norfolk which won't end much before 4.30. It would mean a mad dash down the A47 .... think I'll wait until the Stiffkey walk on Sunday.

have fun

So far I have booked in for the walk and meal:-

Michelle
Liam
Julian
Tim
Coryn?
Julie?
Emma?

I'd appreciate Coryn, Emma and Julie confirming for this event.

I've booked a table for 12, however, there is some leeway to add more but I need final numbers by midday on the day of this event.

Yesterday I carried out the recce with a couple of friends. We also ate in the pub where there is an ofer of 'purchase an evening meal and receive the cheapest absolutely free', this just applies to main courses!

Please remember, the pub is on the A146, the left side of the road, on a slight bend about 4 miles from the ring road.

I would recommend full length trousers for this walk. Also I'd suggest people bring insect repellant, sun block and plenty to drink.

Andrew

PS The walk distance is about 5.5 miles

Hi Andrew,
Yep, I'd really like to come along to this event.
Framingham Pigot ... is that a Taliban controlled area?
(body armour?)
I can bring some false beards if it's of any use

Julian,

As from this month all walks have to be professionally led. It's a RPM directive.
