The monthly meal is being organised by Andrew (venue is quite obviously chosen by Julian) and is at the Malaysian Delights in Norwich, on Timber Hill.

The table is booked for 8pm for this Saturday. Sorry for short notice.

I'm going and Andrew is of course :) Please say if you're going as we need to confirm numbers for the table. Please let Andrew know by Saturday at mid-day.

Julian.

Looks like The Catherine Wheel has closed down Liam!

The Jubilee and Coach & Horses and both just round the corner from me.
The Jubilee is rather quiet most of the time but still a good pub with a nice conservatory and outside area.
The Coach and Horses always has a great atmosphere - Fridays and Saturdays get rather busy. Two others a short walk away are The Red Lion opposite Godfreys on Riverside and The Compleat Angler opposite The Nelson Hotel.

Sorry for hijacking your thread- I'll go and play in general chat now where anything goes!

You mind your own business, you're not going :)

I'm thinking about Jubilee in St Leonard's Road, and Coach and Horses on Thorpe Road (as I think both pubs should be able to supply Richard with a wine list and me with a real ale selection). But we can decide on the night :)

Glasshouse?

Catherine Wheel?

The Castle?

Just to confirm, after the meal, there will be a short (6 hours knowing me) visit to some pubs in Norwich.

I shall find some quiet, atmospheric and respectable pubs where we can chat and I can listen to gossip (not that I'm one for gossip). Any suggestions welcome :) (for pubs to go to, not suggestions about gossip)

Can't make this monthly meal but I urge all other NYWG Associates to partake in this event if possible as the meals organised by Andrew and Julian are 100% first class
