This will replace the walk I was going to do from Thurne.

Honingham is 7 miles north-west of Norwich, signed just off the A47. 'Ye Old Buck Inn' is on a bend in the centre of the village - GR 103118.

The walk will start at 10.30am and is 9 miles. A great walk which takes us through forests and along streams, etc. Done a couple times as well as the recce.....!

Yay! Look forward to seeing you again Silje and chatting more about Cape Town.
I didn't get to talk to as many people as I'd have liked yesterday, due to leading.

By the way, I brought some application forms with me but forgot to offer them out at the end. Was so keen to get into the pub!

I'm glad you were able to make a walk at last Sophie and bring Sarah too. It was good to meet you both, and Silje and Rob.

Nice to see everyone else too! and in such beaut weather.

Paula Posted - 24/10/2009 : 17:37:18
We won't be going through any nature reserves so dogs are welcome as long as they don't get under people's feet.

Thanks Nicky - I saw Emily's post and she also phoned me last night.

Silje - thanks for offering Emily a lift but she has arranged a one with Clive.

Sophie - you're welcome to bring a friend. People are allowed to come on a few walks before joining the Ramblers to see if they like the group and the length/pace of our walks. I will bring a few application forms in case anyone would like one.

Marianne - walking is very good for stretching out stiff muscles! Hope we see you tomorrow

The weather forecast tomorrow is warm, sunny and a bit cloudy so perfect for walking.

Those coming so far tomorrow are:

Tom
Rob
Nicky
Emma?
Sophie + friend
Graham
Silje
Emily
Clive
Sinead
Bert
Marianne?
Alan

Anyone else is welcome. Please arrive at 10.15 in time for a 10.30am start.
Feel free to call me 07812 564872 if you need to.

See you all tomorrow!

Hi Paula,
I'd like to come to this walk tomorrow; sounds nice. My only hesitation is that I did a long run today so I hope my legs are not like lead and I'm unable to move tomorrow morning . Best thing to do is that I'll make sure I'm on time (taking clock change into account!) if I come, and you don't wait for me any later than 10:30 if I hadn't shown up (as I don't have a means to let you know if I had to pull out).

Sophie Posted - 24/10/2009 : 14:31:37
Paula,
Would you mind if i bring a friend along for a bit of first walk moral support?? She isn't a member yet so i understand if its not appropriate.

Hi Paula.

I should be able to make this one. At last I have found a date to get my first walk done and dusted - might need to be pulled along near the end
