Hi all - in a change to the programme, we will be leading a 8.5m walk at Wells-next-the-Sea on Sunday 6 December (instead of Sunday 13 December).
The walk will take us from Wells along the coast towards Stiffkey before turning inland on quiet lanes to the villages of Warham & Wighton and back down to Wells.
Meet at 10.15 for a 10.30 start in the main long-stay car park in Wells (between Freeman Street and Theatre Road). Parking is £5 so car-share if you can - we can take 3 at a push (get in touch if you need a lift) ?
We'd like to do a pub-stop afterwards in Wells but don't have a venue in mind so any suggestions would be much appreciated !
Please post to let us know if you can come - and bring packed lunch, waterproofs, warm clothes etc. Contact number on the day will be 07709 485265.

Dear all - apologies but this walk is now cancelled due to severe wet weather forecast for tomorrow.
Sorry, especially for new members who wanted to come along - we will rearrange it for a spare day in the New Year.

Just wanted to check your mobile number, unfortunately when you state your number in the first message you use 265 but in your latest message it ends with 285.

Dear all - please check the forum tomorrow about this walk:
The weather forecast for Sunday is heavy rain and strong winds, and this walk is quite exposed, both along the coast and with little cover on the inland parts.

Hi Amy, I will come along. Ref.to pub stop The Bowling green inn which is near the Church used to be a good little pub though have not been for a couple of years or so, or The Crown inn on the Butlands is also not bad but again not been for some time and places do change. Ian |
