This is another relatively short walk so good for any of our newer members or those who fancy an easy stroll.

South Walsham is a short drive from Norwich. Follow signs to South Walsham, when in South Walsham, follow signs to the Broad to meet for a 2pm start in the car park.

This is an easy going, circular walk, with a pleasant varied landscape...however, it may be a little muddy in parts!

There are several nice pubs including the Adnams brewery nearby if anyone fancies tasting the local fare afterwards.

Please post below if you would like to come along or have any problems finding the car park. Otherwise, I can be contacted on 07862 702050.

Hope to see you there - Nicky

Excellent....but if your not keen on small strange looking dogs in your car(felicity not me)then perhaps you would rather i drive....let me know as it seems daft to take two cars when we live on each others door step?!

Nicky,

happy to take you and Felicity.

Will drive in through Drayton and then through town. If anyone else in Norwich needs a lift, let me know.

Cheers,

Graham

with regards to my opening post "the adnams brewary isnt far away if anyone wants to sample the local fare" ..... i obviously will be obstaining from this and having a fruit juice....so if the thought of me creating havoc in a drunken manner is putting you off, have no fear!

Hiya, I'm new to the group and thought I could come along to this walk. Is it just a case of turning up? (Sorry if that's a silly question!)

Hi Graham & Nicky
I'm only 10 min walk from city centre and can meet anywhere that is central. I can also get to train station/golden triangle area easily. Hope this is ok. Thanks again Graham for the offer of a lift. Becky

*** Tom, Julie can you help ****

Nicky,

I'll pick you up at the red Lion at 1. Can I ask the others to be at the Pay and Display Carpark in from of the Adam and Eve Pub at 1:15 (its a nice walk through the Cathedral to get there ).

Currently, there is 1 car, 5 people and a dog needing to travel. Can anyone else meet us there to help out? Julie, Tom can you help?

If not, we can squeeze in ...

cheers,

Graham

I may be able to help with lifts .. but not yet sure what time my morning thing will be finishing (or indeed if it is still on!).

So, for the moment, assume I can't help, and I'll post later in the week when things become clearer to me!

tom.
