On Sunday 19th April Julian and myself will be leading a walk around Ludham and Hickling Broad.

The walk is approx 9 miles long and takes in the sights of the Norfolk Broads across quiet country lanes and grassy footpaths.

The section around Hickling Broad can sometimes be flooded so it is adviseable to wear walking boots for this one.

We will stop for a drink in the pub at the end of the walk in Ludham.

Meet at 11:00 in the free car park in Horsefen Road, Ludham

Location here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ludham&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=11.905102,39.375&ie=UTF8&ll=52.705775,1.543665&spn=0.047637,0.153809&z=13

Please post or text me on 07919 160287 to let me know if you would like to attend

Cheers

Liam

Hi,

I hope you don't mind me intruding! I've just visited your website and I'm really interested in becoming a member and maybe joining you for the walk on Sunday.

I'm completely new to this, so hopefully a 9 mile walk would be a good starting point?

My number is 07799 061216 and my email is emmaclaireward@hotmail.com

Would it be possible for someone to get back to me to let me know whether it would be possible to join you on sunday?

Again - apologies for intruding on your message board!

Many thanks

Emma

Hi Liam,

got your post thanks. I look forward to meeting you all on Sunday. Couple of questions if I may...

1 - Roughly how long are we likely to be out and about?

2 - Do we all take along a packed lunch or something?

I'm 99% certain I'll be there, just need to make sure my boyfriend isn't using the car.

Emma B.- walking is a great hangover cure lol :) But Michelle would agree with you on that one and have a lie in.

Emma W.- I will be able to give you a lift if you are not able to get there yourself. Let me know what you are doing sometime this week

Thanks

Liam

A hangover is absolutely no excuse for a walk starting at 11am, I've done far worse. Liam will be heartbroken you don't want to attend the walk.

New Emma - look forwards to meeting you!

Newsflash:

We reccy'd the walk this evening and it took approx. 3hrs so it will be a bit longer with a lunch stop.

Terrain is approx 60% quiet lanes / 40% off-road tracks.

Hickling Broad paths are dry so fingers crossed we don't get any heavy rain in the next few days.

See you soon.

Liam
