Hi,

I shall be leading a 14(ish) mile walk from The Fox in Hevingham, starting at 10:30.

Map here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=the+fox+hevingham

We shall be stopping at 7 Village Signs on the way, having a slightly early lunch (around 12), and then drinks/food at The Fox for anyone who would like to stay at around 16:30 ..

Some of the route is very wet underfoot, so boots are recommended, as is lots of water, and waterproofs if the weather is looking bad.

Let me know if you would like to attend, or just turn up on the day..

Hi Tom
It sounds a good walk. Unfortunately I'm busy elsewhere but I hope it goes really well.

I'll be on this one.

I will be travelling from Norwich (Julian's flat to be precise) if anyone wants a lift!

Hi Tom

If possible I would like to join you and the group on the bimble around Hevingham on Saturday. This will be my first walk with the group, so no doubt I will be the one looking lost!

Hi Tom,

I'll be there, arriving with rpm and norwichwalk.

Looking forward to seeing what Hevingham and its surrounding countryside has to offer.

Hi,

I'd be interested in going on Saturday - I went on a couple of walks in March but haven't been able to go since then. Can I get a lift from someone (from central Norwich)?

Cheers,

Sinead

It started off a bit cold, cloudy and miserable, and we lost one walker early on, but the rest of the walk seems to have been a great success.

Apologies for a bit too much Road Walking . .

It was good to see new faces, old faces, and faces that some of us had seen before in non-walking situations!

Thanks for coming, and see you all again soon!

Thanks Tom, it was a lovely walk with a variety of woods, fields etc. I don't normally like walking on roads but they were alright because they were relatively quiet..... and we saw the seven signs as promised.

Hope the walker (can't remember her name) that turned back found the cars again okay, and we see her on another walk soon.

The tracks for this walk can be downloaded via the following link:

http://www.norfolkywg.org.uk/tracks/hevingham.zip

As usual, unzip the file, and then load it into Google Earth to see where we have been.
