Just bringing this to the top again in case anyone else is thinking of coming on the trip as we will be there in 2 weeks time.

I know several people expressed an interest..... Eimear, James, Emily, Suzanna and others I might have missed.

Hope some of you will be able to join us.

My childcare issues may be over soon - in which case I may be able to make it! I will let you know, when I know more!

Hi Ya Paula It was great to bump into you the other night...we hardly recognised each other out of the walking boots with a bit of makeup on...lol

Im bailing out of the trip to the Lake District- as it clashes with two live music gigs Im going to with my friends- music and alcohol wins the day Im afraid....rather then healthy living...but I'd love to go to the Lakes again...the dates booked dont suit me as these gigs were booked a while back.

You will no doubt have a great time...myself and Clive did the 18 miler and hes great company.....and we met loads of walkers and had a great time

No worries Eimear - I understand music and alcohol are more attractive to some people than climbing a mountain for no reason other than the pure enjoyment of it. Hope you have as good a time as we will.

Tom - still hoping you can make it - will wait with anticipation for news of the safe arrival of the new baby.
