I will be leading a short walk (5.5 miles) on Saturday 5th September from Dumpling Green (near Dereham) meeting at 14:00
I will be reccying the walk during the week, at which point I will post more info, including suitability for dogs!
The walk is described as follows:
This is an enjoyable rural walk, with no stiles en route. It passes the house where the writer George Borrow was born. The route is along tracks, across fields and through two Norfolk villages.
Meeting point is described as follows:
There is parking just in the track at Dumpling Green. This is situated off the east side of the B1135 Dereham to Yaxham road, a quarter-mile south after passing under the A47.
The grid ref is 998 119
Post walk drinks will be a pub in Dereham if cold or wet, or my garden if nice.

I have now done the Reccy and I am upgrading the length from 5.5 miles to 6.5 miles! You just can't trust walkingworld.com Never mind, that's what a Reccy is for.
The walk was pretty pleasant with a distinctive agricultural theme!
The walk is suitable for dogs, although there are a couple of places with signs saying dogs must be kept on leads, and one very short (5 yards) cross through a field with cows in.
