Hi everybody -

We will be leading a 10 mile walk in south Norfolk on Saturday 31 October.

The walk takes us from Woodton through fields and quiet lanes (and part of the Bigod Way) to Ditchingham where we can have lunch and a pub stop before working our way north again back to the cars.

Meet in the King's Head car park in Woodton village for a 10.30 start. Woodton is on the A1527, about 10 miles south of Norwich following the A1332 Bungay road.

The landlord is happy we park there provided we have a drink afterwards (another pub stop) - but if we could try and car share this would be great so we don't put him out !

Bring lunch, waterproofs, warm clothes etc. as usual. We will have 3 spaces in the car so if you need a lift, please post or give me a ring (07709 485265).

Look forward to seeing you then,

Amy & David

I'll be there Amy if I can get a lift with someone, now that my poor car is a burnt-out shell.

See you soon.

Hi Amy

Would have liked to come along on this one, but Matt's parents are coming for the weekend, so can't get away.

Hope you have a good walk.

Sounds good and I should be there. Is that the pub on the main road to Norwich?

Hi Jonny -

As I remember, you turn right off the main road (A1527) to Woodton and the pub is the middle of the village itself.

Hope that helps !

Hi everybody -

Looking forward to a hopefully not too wet walk tomorrow (although bring your waterproofs) !

Final list is: Jane, Paula plus friend, Ian, Jonny, Nicky, Julian, Alan, Emily, David and myself - although any last-minute joiners are welcome too !

We should be there about 10.15 for a 10.30 start - if you need to contact us before then, please give me a ring on the mobile (07709 485265).

Amy & David

Thanks for organising this walk, Amy and David, which I worked off well at the Beer Festival! Glad it wasn't in today's downpour as well.
