Wish I could, but I'll be at work...again!
Westleton certainly is a beautiful village surrounded by lovely countryside so this will be a good day out. The Crown is nice, although not cheap, but there's always the Eels Foot in Eastbridge.

Hi everyone,

I‘ve decided to arrange a walk over the Christmas weekend, so people have an opportunity to walk off the excesses of Christmas, escape family etc. I can now provide further details of this walk.

Walk distance:- 9 miles
Walk start time:- 10.30am – please arrive so we can start punctually
Walk start point:- By the duck pond at the bottom of the triangular village green
Parking:- No charge for parking in the village, there is space at the start point
Terrain:- Relatively flat, some small inclines, some parts were muddy on the recce.
Landscape:- Woodlands, heath, fields, tracks, paths, lanes
Pub lunch location:- Eels Foot Inn, Eastbridge

This is a beautiful walk in an unspoilt part of rural Suffolk. The pub has an excellent reputation and is not a gastro pub.

Please bring walking boots, drink, snacks, warm clothing etc

I look forward to seeing old and new members.
Andrew

Hi Michelle, Clive, James, Emma and dog and ?, and Rob,

Weather forecast for tomorrow is good. If anyone at the last minute decides to join us, please feel free just to turn up. As it's Christmas weekend I'll be offering all of tomorrow's attendees chocolates. Sorry, I haven't any dog choc drops.

Michelle, just incase Clive has not seen your post I've left your number on his mobile ansaphone. I hope he contacts you.

See you all tomorrow:)
