At Jonny's request, there will be a pub night next Saturday night (13th February) which is likely suitable for those of us who aren't getting involved with that Valentine's Day piffle :)

There is a walk in the day at Holkham, so I'd suggest meeting at 7.30pm in Norwich for a few drinks at pubs which I will announce after consultation? I'll pick pubs with real ale and where we can sit down and chat, not get drowned out by the volume of the music whilst standing up balancing our drinks :)

Anyone who can make it would be appreciated, we can try and get some new members along as well.

Excellent, bring as many people as you can (or just yourself is fine as well!).

I am of course not one for gossip, so I wouldn't be able to assist

Hi - thanks for the comments so far :)

I think there are going to be about six or seven of us (hope everyone can still come!), so I'm a little loathe to do this, but I was thinking of replicating some pubs we've done before, in an attempt to ensure that we go places that will let us find seats and chat (and have good ales!).

I was thinking of amending the start time to 7pm to Glass House for those that want food, and then anyone that doesn't could join us there at 7.30pm when we will start to think of leaving before it gets too loud. There may be too many of us for King's Head, but the Whalebone and Cider Shed are both options depending on what people want to do (and a ten minute walk so that's healthy).

Some other pubs were suggested, and I have worked out another three possible pub routes for future use :)

For the absence of any doubt, everyone is welcome!

Cool, but don't binge drink on the water Matt! I'm hoping Ian can make it to try and help me convert some more people to the joys of night walks after the successful December night hike :)

Looking forward to it!

Thanks Jonny, and thanks to all eleven who came out (especially as many had done the walk in the day!). It was a really enjoyable night and sorry we didn't get far into the pub crawl!

I'll of course repeat this in a few weeks and make this a regular event.

Thanks again, much appreciated

Hey,

It was great to catch up with everyone last night. The real ale certainly went down very well!

Hope to see you soon.
