Anyone up for this lovely 10 mile walk in the wide open spaces around Long Stratton in the heart of South Norfolk, the walk includes a section of the Boudica's Way and Long Strattons rain forest the attractive Tyrell's wood. We will meet for an 11am start in the large lay-by near Long Stratton leisure center on Swan Lane. The leisure center can be found by turning right just after the Swan P.H. if travelling from Norwich direction and is about a quarter of a mile on the left hand side. You will need to bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink as we do not pass anywhere to get anything and the only pub on route does not now open lunch times, you will also need the usual good walking shoes, waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent may be a good idea. The walk does cross some cattle grazing land but these are generally not a problem. After the walk we can have a drink at the pub in Long Stratton and for those that wish this can be followed by Fish and Chips in my garden, the Fish and Chips are highly regarded and people travel quite a way to get them from here. Look forward to seeing you on the day Jane
